These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of laseretchingetcetera.net and any purchase you make from Laser Etching Etcetera LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
Use of the Site
You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of, or restrict or inhibit the use of the Site by, anyone else. You must be at least 18 years old, or have a parent or guardian’s permission, to place an order.
Products and Descriptions
We sell handmade, laser-cut, laser-engraved, and UV-printed goods, along with some downloadable digital files (such as templates and cut files). Because many items are handmade or made to order, slight variations in color, wood grain, or finish between the product photos and the item you receive are normal and not considered defects. Reclaimed wood may also contain nail holes, weathering, and other signs of its previous life. Measurements are included in each product description, and because items are handmade, dimensions may vary slightly. If an item must fit a particular space, container, ornament, or display, please contact us with the required measurements before ordering. We describe our products as accurately as possible, but we do not warrant that descriptions, colors, or other content are completely error-free.
Pricing and Payment
All prices are listed in U.S. dollars and are subject to change without notice. Applicable sales tax is added where required. Payment is processed through PayPal and any other payment method we make available at checkout. By placing an order, you represent that you are authorized to use the payment method provided.
Orders and Acceptance
An order is a request to purchase and is not final until we confirm and process it. We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or limit any order — for example, in cases of suspected fraud, pricing errors, or item unavailability. If we cancel an order you already paid for, we will issue a refund.
Shipping and Delivery
Processing and shipping times will be noted on the product page or at checkout when available. Shipping dates are estimates, not guarantees, and we are not responsible for carrier delays. Risk of loss and title for physical products pass to you upon delivery to the shipping carrier.
Delayed, Missing, or Damaged Packages
Tracking is provided when your order ships. If a package is delayed or missing, contact us so we can review the tracking and help with the carrier. If an item arrives damaged, photograph the item, the shipping box, and the packaging, then contact us promptly so we can help resolve the problem.
Digital Products
Purchasing a digital file (such as a template, jig, or cut file) gives you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use that file. Unless a listing states otherwise, digital files are for your own personal or small-batch production use and may not be resold, redistributed, or shared as a file. Because digital products are delivered instantly, all digital purchases are final and non-refundable once downloaded, except where required by law.
Returns, Refunds and Cancellations
Orders may be cancelled within 2 hours of purchase. Exchanges, returns, and refunds for physical products are handled according to our Refund, Return & Exchange Policy. Personalized and custom items cannot be returned or exchanged unless they arrive damaged or were made incorrectly, so please carefully check all spelling and details before ordering or approving a proof.
Bulk and Wholesale Orders
We welcome bulk, wholesale, group, business, and event orders. Please contact us before ordering with the item, quantity, needed-by date, and any artwork or wording you would like included, and we will confirm availability, pricing, production time, and shipping. Orders of 10 or more of the same item are special orders and are non-returnable unless defective.
Custom Orders and Submitted Content
If you submit a photo, design, name, text, or other content for us to use in a custom or personalized item, you confirm that you own it or otherwise have the right to use it, and that it does not infringe anyone else’s rights (including copyright or trademark) or violate any law. You grant us permission to use that content solely to create and fulfill your order, and, unless you tell us otherwise, to photograph the finished item for our portfolio, website, and social media.
Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise noted, all designs, product photography, and content on the Site are owned by Laser Etching Etcetera LLC and may not be copied, reproduced, or used commercially without our written permission.
Accounts
If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login information confidential and for all activity under your account. Let us know right away if you believe your account has been used without your permission.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Laser Etching Etcetera LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or our products. Our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Laser Etching Etcetera LLC harmless from any claims, losses, or damages, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your misuse of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or content you submit to us.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page, and the effective date above will be updated accordingly. Continuing to use the Site after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
